Xu Jin graduated from the School of Architecture of Tsinghua University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in architecture; graduated from the Department of Land Economics of the University of Cambridge in 2012 with a master’s degree; paid academic visit to the Department of Urban Research and Planning of MIT in 2015; graduated from the School of Architecture of Tsinghua University with a doctor’s degree in urban and rural planning in 2016. At present, he is a Lecturer in the School of Architecture of Southeast University, mainly engaged in theoretical research, practice and teaching related to urban and rural planning and design.
At present, he is in charge of a number of scientific research projects, such as the projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, subproject of key R&D plan of “13th Five-Year Plan” of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, the Talent Plan of Jiangsu Province, and he has published more than 10 papers in core journals at home and abroad. He is responsible for Architectural Design, Urban and Rural Planning Principles and other courses. He has participated in the 2018 Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition of Southeast University, guided students to participate in the Social Survey Competition of the Professional Steering Committee on Urban Planning, the National “Green Spot Competition” of Rural Planning and Design Competition, the First International Green Spot Competition and others where awards were obtained.
