Li Baihao, deputy chairman and secretary general of Urban Planning History and Theory Committee, a member of Historic and Cultural City Planning Committee of Urban Planning Society of China, and a member of Industrial Architectural Heritage Committee of the Architectural Society of China, is mainly engaged in the study and teaching of planning history and associated theory of heritage conservation, as well as design work.
He has led and participated in 7 research programs funded by National Social Science Foundation, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education and China Association for Science and Technology.He has won a second prize for national excellent village and town planning and design, a first prize for excellent urban and rural planning and design of Zhejiang Province, and the Book Award in the fourth China publishing government award. He has published more than 100 papers (including Modern and Century Evolution of Chinese Urban Planning) and 10 books (including Modern Chinese Urban Planning and Culture) and participated in the compilation of the national unified textbook History of Chinese Architecture and History of Chinese Urban Construction.
